Might as well calculate shipping to Jacksonville, FL 32218
Yeah pulling the front diff is tricky. I dropped the steering rack and pulled the oil pan to get mine out, but that was because I had other engine work planned. The guy at the ring and pinion shop said it can be done with the pan in if you unbolt the engine mount, swing the engine up on the pass side, and cut a small notch out of the corner of the lower control arm alignment plate. Then it will fall out of the bottom.
I didn't have a problem with the diff or disconnect sticking to the pan on mine, but I know when I parted out the '03 my buddy bought the motor with the diff STILL ATTACHED!! Couldn't get the damn thing off and quit trying
I would soak it for a few days for sure!
The rear axle removal is a piece of cake. All bolts are very easy to get to.
I have to see what the weight is on everything and I'll calculate shipping.
