What did you do to your GMT today?

I found out that 285 70 17 STT Pros DO NOT fit on a Bravada without a lot of fender trimming front and rear.

I'm even doubting that they would fit with a 3" body lift.

The 265s will be in some time next week...

Parked the tb for the school year and picked up my new dd. Also got the rims on about a week ago. They're fuel hostage 17x9 with -12 offset. Lots of trimming had to be done when the rims went on but I LOVE the stance they give the tb now.

Your brake lines look awfully stretched! It's very likely that, currently, your brake lines are your down-limiting component when flexed out, even if they aren't with the axle hanging straight on jack stands. This is what I did to remedy that. Cut the rear of the mount and bent the hard line hanger down:

I picked up a set of the Pathfinder tires for the beater/driver from Discounttire, last night. Like $523 installed for the set. A rebranded Kuhmo, "severe show service" rated, 60k mile, good reviews, etc.. Pretty quiet tires, ride well, don't seem to squirm around, even new.

I just started some maintenance before getting ready to use my Trailblazer. I replaced the ignition switch, headlight relay, changed the oil, and replaced the ambient temp sensor. the headlights turn on and off like they are supposed to now, and the ambient temp changes from 50 degrees.

Got home from college today, parked my 7.3 powerstroke, and immediately took my trailblazer out for a ride. Going to rebuild my cv boot tomorrow, flip the damn uca's, and take it back to college with me for the week, while the 7.3 goes in to get a hole in the exhaust fixed.

Aside from minor rubbing while turning, I'm happy.

I put on some 285/75/17 Milestar Patagonia mt's today. The figment is tight but a few other guys run that size so I said //// it. Ride isn't as bad as I expected either for how "knobby" they are. Defiantly smoother than bfg mt km's.

Picked up two trucks tonight one for a motor swap into a Jeep and the other was just a bonus. But this TB needs to live on!!!

Today I changed bulbs and fuses that got all lights to work! I also added fluid to the washer reservoir only to have it leak out onto my shoes... smh... pulled the air box and found the worlds dirtiest air filter (no pic, didn't think to) and the washer res was fine. Pulled it anyway and discovered both the front and rear pump motors were dry rot so I got to replace them with shiny new ones! Added some new wipers and then gave it a bath... filthy! Sat too long under a palm tree. Looks great now!

Heard a snap today when I shifted into Reverse... guess this is common. Searched the threads and found a quick easy fix... went to my local parts dealer and picked up a Dorman 14055 and fixed the transmission shift bushing. Easy!

Yup. Pretty common. Mine went out when I was going up a steep climb, alone, in the Anza Borrego desert. But of a pucker factor, considering it had fallen off in Neutral. So, since my e-brake cant hold a conversation, I had to jump out and find big enough rocks so my rig didn't go off the side of the mountain. Fixed it with safety wire and that held for many months.

I picked my TB up from the shop of a local driveline specialist, who diagnosed my non-functioning front drive, and fixed it. The disconnect bearing had disintegrated, damaging the housing, so it was a re and re project, using a new OEM unit, though he managed to get one from his supplier at about 25% less than dealer price. With taxes and enviro fees added, the total bill was just $5.00 shy of $1400 CDN, or roughly $1000 US. Ouch!

Yeah man that's a bummer I just had to rebuild mine because I broke it off during tear down for the front diff, I got the seals and bearings from the dealership for around $40 then $7 for the disconnect housing from the junkyard.
