Just right tire size?

Alright guys I've got markmc's 3" suspension lift and 3" body lift what do you guys think is the right size tire? I've got 265's on now and they look kinda small but are also very worn. I love how they sit outside the fender well on the stock wheels. I thought about 255/75/R17 because they are taller but I'm not sure. What do you guys think looks best? Or should I just get some new 265's?

I'd say a 33" or 34" tire.

I certainly would not run less than a 295 70 17. I would definitely use 315 or 35 inch tires myself.

I have 255's with no body lift and am unhappy with the size, I think the optimum size for the wheelbase is 35-37. As for what looks amazing, well strectched tires and mad stance are a win at every highschool.

Most folks buy the lift they need to fit the tires they feel like they need. Whatever size you get, make sure you have the gears to support it else you will be asking for recommendations on a transmission shop.

Hahaha you guys are great I'm going to be storm chasing in AR so I want a good tire I'm leaning towards either 285/70's or 33x10.50 on stock wheel for now I talked to James and he said he never had any issue with his 285's so will see if not I'll just go with new 265's

If I could go back in time, I'd have 285 Duratrac's instead of the 255's I have now.

:iagree: my 255s are super skinny... I went with them because I was scared of not clearing the UBJ since I went the non-wheel spacer route, but I have like 2 inches or more of clearance and would love for them to be wider. I often see my tracks in the dirt and it looks like a couple of motorcycles came through lol.

I just want a taller, wider, more ordinary tire lol. I had to replace one and they had to order it and I had to wait three days. I try to stick to thing's I can get right now today.

33s look pretty good, Moots has 33s and a 2" body lift and about 3"suspension. But he's been talking 34s or 35s lately. LOL
