I'm a high school student who will soon be purchasing a 2003 TB LS all stock. It is in good condition and has 218kms on it. I am really interested in lifting it, and have joined so I can ask for help, and maybe in the future offer help to people, and just talk about random crap. Anyways, I better get this out of the way... I'm Canadian (Alberta FTW
) I am really excited to get this project started, and have lots of support from my dad. (Will be using his tools and garage I am planning so far to do this:
-Mark's 3" suspension lift kit
-Flipping the UCA
-z71 springs in rear with new shock absorbers
-new struts
-Replace ball joints
-skid plating (this is needed obv)
-CB Radio
-Lights on roof and grille
-Cold air intake
That is my basic plan. I will be starting with the ball joints, lifting and suspension, then doing the other stuff. I will be installing everything at home, except for the new tires. It will be a fun time!
Thanks for having me!
Jared
emoticon if there are questions you have that have been answered over and over again. On a side note, I've heard there is a 200 mile pipeline going into Northern Alberta. I understand that Alberta is huge, but just curious if there are any rumors that confirm that (the company I work for is supposedly bidding it and I'm the Drill and Blast Manager for the company.)
