Just discovered the same problem on mine while doing ball joints.... My axle was flopping around when I had everything apart, so I popped it out and the bearings spit their guts... probably also why my 4wd selector would randomly flash every now and then.

It's a pretty pricey part... I'm not above hitting up junk yards for parts, but this disconnect housing seems to be a common problem; which makes me want to go new.... ~$450. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I followed the Tech Doc on here and rebuilt mine. Wasn't all too bad to do and only cost me $85 in parts. That's including the 35mm axle socket.

You guys need to look around more and read posts and save links. Kyle first posted these eBay adds awhile back and I would suggest the AWD version.

Just installed a scanguage II and leds for my fog lights. Got to clear my codes, although I keep getting a P0449 code... Have cleared it 4 times and it keeps popping up. But I love all the features of this thing. Especially the code clearing function

Productive two days for me! Replaced the thermostat and coolant temp sender that I've had on hand for a few years... and replaced the front wheel hubs with ACDelco units. It's like driving on grease! So smooooooth. I didn't realize how much of the noise and occasional clunking was coming from the hubs.
Now for this daggon' fuel pressure regulator.

Woman gave me two Autofeel 30watt LED spot pods for Christmas. I finally got around to adding them to the center of my light bar tonight and I got them aimed. So, as it stands now, I've got two flood 18 watt LED pods, two 18 watt LED spots, and the two 30 watt LED spot pods dead center.
