Do you have a pic of the oil pan clearance? Would pushing the axle more forward help? I have a 79 ford d60 so the diff is not offset as far.

I have been wanting to tear apart my 92 gmc truck and build a new family wheeler and set up about identical to this. With 39.5 irocs, 5.38 gears in a 79 ford d60 and 10.25 sterling, gm 52" front springs and 63" rear springs.
Theres not a ton of clearance for the oil pan, but if you bump stop it properly you shouldnt have any issues. The 4.2 doesn't really mind the gears and tires.. getting about 13mpg and it had no issue getting around..
