On Goodyear's website its says 33". They are a light tire for an Eply tire I think the 285 comes in at either 53lbs or 55lbs. I was considering them when I wanted to go to 33s...

They were listed at 33.10 and 55lbs on the discount tire eBay listing. So far I have only had to pound that fender liner bolt a little. I figure I will put it through the motions and check the clearances when I install my front diff. I expect I will need to trim some fender liner etc but it doesn't appear I will need to trim any metal. The funny part is they fit my stock k1500 with no lift or trimming.

I've been enjoying my reserved parking at work this week... :)

Someone plowed the parking lot over the weekend and pushed all the snow up against one line of decent parking spaces. Because I start later, I usually end up parking in back, but not this week! Myself and a few other made use of 4WD and have slowly beat down that pile through the week (not to mention the temps have been in the 60's). The first few days I plowed right into the pile, my tires sunk in a bit, and I gave my skid plate a bit of a workout. At least two days I left the truck parked with the weight of the front end resting on the skid, and when I looked today I can see no sign of any deflection in the plate. I was actually planning on adding side braces some day to attach to the mounting brackets where the WAAG pushbar was bolted, but now I'm not sure I need to.

Ah well, it was fun while it lasted, but I imagine the sun this weekend will finish off the pile, then I'll be parking in the back again.

Dropped the rear sway bar out, had to cut the end links off, nuts are seized to the threads. I'll deal with getting the remainder out at a later time, if needed. Found that the N8030 shock bushings are looser than I thought so I need to figure out what to do to fix the bushing collar play. Discovered my lower pan hard bar now has some noise, bushing starting to get weak. Popped the front bumper cover out, snow mound pushed the corner in sometime last week, ready to get rid of it and build one from Mike. Passenger side CV is slinging grease out the end, so dropped a 4" worm clamp on it to see if that will resolve. Driver side isn't leaking yet, so leaving it be. Diff still leaking, but not bad. Still searching for 4.10 front/rear to swap in. Have some good buys on 8.6 rears that are close enough, but can't take a day off from new job for a few more weeks to go get them and the fronts don't seem to be too common. Also trying to figure out what I want to do for a spare tire carrier. I'd like a gate or a fold down, roof rack wrecks mileage to bad to warrant. Lots of stuff, hopefully more soon. Spring is here, itch to get out and work on stuff again has bit.

Changed out original plugs and plug wires with new Delco iridiums and Delco wires. 1 lb of flesh from my knuckles and arms and 3.5 hours. Truck idles and runs so much better now. Just realized how dirty my engine bay is!

I have to change mine soon, not the scenario I wanted to hear lol. I was hoping it would be easier on the V8.

The front plugs are not in the easiest place to reach on mine.

Yep, the front plug on each side are the worst. Just remove everything you can to get at them. The rest are easier...passenger side thru the wheel well. Hardest part could've been just getting the new plugs started but I made an easy plug starter by cutting off the plug end of one of my old plug wires...worked like a charm to start the plugs.

for my Suburban with the 5.3, I bought a plug boot puller, it helped a lot on the hard to reach ones. That might help for the TBs with the 5.3 as well.

The tires and lift look great, afair88. Where did you find the BFGs for $450?

Failed inspection today for a myriad of issues, none actually affecting any sort of safe operation of the vehicle in my opinion.

Inspections would annihilate 50% of our states vehicles instantly, thank God we don't have them.
