Cabin Air Filter Doors

I know what you are thinking, and yes that is a giant lego guy.

I have for sale, a basically unlimited supply of these Cabin Air Filter doors/covers.

These were designed off of the factory original with the goal to make them more available. They are 3D printed from strong layered ABS and will withstand all the heat and cold that it may experience. These units may be provided bare without the foam seal on the bottom, or with it. They will not come with the screw which can be sourced easily by finding one that will fit the plastic screw post, self tapping threads. The arrow is to remind you the direction of airflow when inserting the filters.

The foam seal will be composed of adhesive backed 1/4" thick neoprene sponge but anything with similar sealing properties will work just as well.

I finally got around to installing this, nearly 3 years later. In my defense, it isn't the easiest thing to get to and reach.

Ha. I sent my stock one I had picked up to the guy to print them and have mine back and a printed one, but just found them a couple weeks ago and thought I should install after all these years. Looks like it fits good. Wonder if you will notice anything different in dusty areas.

I've had the filters installed for years, but my duct tape cover wasn't holding up well. I imagine the biggest difference is some improved airflow, since I was losing a good bit out of the duct tape. Never had issues in dusty roads with the filters. When I added the door, I cleaned out the filters. They each had about a pound of dirt in them.

Wow. I didn't even realize we had a place to install cabin air filters. I think when my trailblazer sat last winter a mouse built a nest in the duct and my ac and heat has smelt horrible since. Are these still available?
