Question about lift mod

Hi

First I want to thank OffroadTB for all the information I got for the mod on my TB.
Some weeks ago I used 2.5" lift from Lift Meister and I loved it. I would like to upgrade with 3" bodylift in few time but I have some questions about it.
I already have grill guard in front and rear bumper guard. I would like to know if the bodylift will fit with the guards and if not what kind of modification I need to do.
If someone did it, some pictures of the mod would be appreciate.

I don't know of anyone that has bothered to modify a brush guard to work with a body lift. The custom fabrication required wouldn't be extreme, but if you're going to be hiring a fabricator to do the work - you might as well have them fabricate up a new bumper for you.

I made the rear work. Simple as cutting bracket and rewelding so it could bolt to the frame vertically. Not sure I have pics but check my build. Hotness has it now and could prolly get pics if needed

I am still using my non BL front bumper Mike welded on the gill guard when he built it with a 3" lift. First off, I had to take the brush guard attachments off, they interfered with the headlights. The top bar of the grill guard makes opening the hood a little more difficult, but not impossible. I do have a sizeable gap between the bumper and body now.

I would recommend just dumping the GG and order one of Mikes weld your own bumper kits for the front and either have someone local bend some additional bars for you or see if Mike can send some with the kit.

Mikes bumpers are affordable and a GREAT foundation for future modifications. Personal opinion, you can't beat the price nor find a better guy to do business with. You're getting the same opinion over and over because of other peoples experiences.

You wrote all the same thing, buy a new front bumper Mike welded. It sound good but it's not the same price. I live in Canada, so ship it here is a very expensive solution. I have a welder machine but not the skill to do this kind of work. But I'm building a better bush guard. I welded two big pipes to replace the originals little one. I don't know yet how secure it on my TB with the 3" bodylift.

Someone can tell me how much is a Mike welded bumper??

Maybe I could considered the solution in the futur.
