Hello all!

Im from Central Indiana and have been lurking the site since summer when I picked up my trailblazer. Since owning my trailblazer ive had to replace front wheelbearings and a o2 senser.(has 105k) Its all stock but have considered doing minor mods to it lately. Im not new to offroading as I currently have a mini buggy I just built and have had many jeeps and air cooled vws in the past. Figured id stop in and say HI

Welcome! My opinion has always been that people from different perspectives looking at the same problem can come up with the most creative answers. As far as doing mods to your TB, the group encourages the old standby: Plan, Buy, Build. Because of my experiences I tend to encourage a radiator skid plat be one of the first things considered.

Welcome from Northern IN. Keep an eye on any upcoming trips. Your always more than welcome in a passenger seat. Spend a couple days with us in Badlands and you will be ready to start throwing money at your Trailblazer. They truly are very capable platforms while still retaining the comfort and driveability.

Ill definitely keep an eye out for trips. Even if I dont wheel the trailblazer i'll be done to bring my mini buggy out to play!


BTW you guys ever go to haspin acres? I usually wheel badlands once or twice a year. but go to haspin acres regularly. (only 50 minutes from me)

Not a big fan of Haspin but live 20 minutes from there. Used to own 600+ acres and the old motorcycle climb hill off 52. Now we got 255 right up off 229 that we camp and play at.

Man if i lived 20 minutes from there Id be wheelin after work regularly .lol I like haspin better just becuase you can night wheel and drink. I wanna hit up Dirty Turtle offroad and redbird in the summer . ive never been to either place and they look fun.

Redbird is fun. I know a lot that like dtor but its not real big.
