My Custom Rear Bumper

After way too long and probably an unnecessary amount of work my rear bumper is finally finished. I've wanted to have a nice bumper for quite a while now and after drooling over the ones on here I decided to start on it. I owe so much to Barton for helping me out by pointing me in the right direction when I wasn't sure of what to do, or the best way to do it. I would've loved to have one of his bumpers but being in Alaska, the shipping would've killed me, as would my wife. It's not perfect by any means nor is it even close but for the first time fabricating anything I'm happy with it. Anyways, on to the pictures now....

bumper is done and coated in truck bed liner

tire carrier and latch added to the swing out

Added a Smittybilt jerry can holder. Swing out finished and coated in truck bed liner

Finished product with spare and hi lift mounted

Smittybilt 2798 Jerry can holder
Kawell 18W 6500K LED flood lights
Swing out polyurethane stop for the swing out from EMS Offroad

He was talking to me, so he made it like I make rear bumpers. It's basically a class 3-4 hitch with a bumper attached to it. There's a 2.5 or 3" square tube going all the way across, with the hitch in the middle.

Thanks guys!! Just like Barton said, I started off with the hitch like he does, 3" square tube in the frame rails and 2.5" tube in-between. I seem to have lost the picture of just the hitch though. All said and done I think I was around 600-650 into it.
