If so, I'd cut the sleeve down a bit and put a washer on either side of it, internal to the bracket. That thin sheet metal doesn't have much bearing surface, and I could see it wearing some - mainly because of the constant vibrations. Might not be a big deal, depending on the thickness of the sleeve.
I'm less worried about it now though, with the bar moved. Glad the holes worked out.
