Got the Trasharoo mounted.
Also, I'm thinking about doing something so that I can just let the swing go, and it won't break the gas spring. Debating about a limiting strap, or a mechanical means, somehow. Problem with mechanical means is the removal of the powdercoat where it would hit. I think I'll try the limiting strap, first.
Also, even though it doesn't rattle, when it's loaded and the swing is out, the hitch and system does flex an amount that means about 1/2 or 3/4" out at the bearing. I think I may do the strut on the passenger side, to the frame rail.

Limiting strap... I like it! I need to do that. My cylinder has been de-threaded by a few accidents... so for now I just gorilla glue it every time it breaks. A limiting strap - now that's using your noggin! I'll have to steal that one eventually Mike.

Yeah, I don't know that I'd worry about it for me, but the wife will use this as much as I will, so it really needs to be "non-mechanically-savy-resistant". ETA: And I specifically don't want her letting it go, the cylinder breaking, and then the swing smacking the car next to her.

It went to Powdercoat this morning. I did end up putting the frame ties under it, because I didn't like the flex. It's 2 pieces. The pieces that are attached to the tube just go under the bumper and stop. The other pieces mount to the rear (2) hitch/bumper bolts on each side, and come down and bolt to the pieces that are welded to the tubes. We'll see how it shakes out, as far as how much better it is, but it won't be worse.

The extra weight hanging back there did give me some lift on the front end, so I ended up putting in another 1" of spacer on top of Mark's 2" rear spacer.
