Greetings... I am new to this Outstanding site for modifying my newly acquired '05 Trailblazer LT with a G80 and 4.10's. My problem is all this information has put me into overload. I am currently amassing the parts to make my Trailblazer more trail worthy. The more I read the more confused I become. Maybe I am having a senior moment but I cannot filter through the mass of information to narrow down what I need. Here is my plan, first complete front end rebuild ( I want a known good starting point) Upper/Lower control arms and ball joints, new Hubs. Install a 2.5" lift from MarkMC (just arrived) and using either 255/75/17's or 265/65/17's not sure about pluses or minuses with either. Do I flip upper control arms? This is my weekend fishing/hunting toy, so no climbing over boulders just nice desert road driving, sandy roads, rocky trails etc, with a nice drive there and back. So any input would be greatly appreciated.
