Got an 04 Envoy SLT 4x4 in December.
It's in need of a lift and better suspension.
Will post pix from home

Somehow it reminds me of the SUV in I am Legend. Nice start!

Looks good but ditch the running boards
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

Once you offroad some more, I would imagine they will self clearance and you may be more inclined to remove them and maybe look into sliders ;)

Welcome aboard. Sliders are like running boards but solid, usually tube steel. Google "rock sliders"...

Yeah, these things are flimsy as a flaccid penis

You know, I realized you're not far from the Roadie, one of the other founders. You might want to get in contact with him. A drive down to Borrego with him would be well worth your time, and it would certainly be good to get him out again.

Yeah, I think he's a good 4 hours away.
Might have to set something up with him in the future

I'd drive 4 hours for borrego. I'd drive 4.5 hours for Borrego and the Roadie combined.

well worth the drive to have "Ridin' with Roadie" checked off your bucket list
