Hey, I'm new to the forum and I've just spent the last couple hours reading up on as much information as I could so i figured I'd introduce myself. I have a 2007 trailblazer that I plan on keeping mostly stock until I wear the tires I just bought out. The only mods I plan on making in the near future is skid plates and an aftermarket bumper. Nice to meet you all!

Beware of the mod bug. Always seems to catch once you've started reading. Welcome

Welcome.
Waiting on your tires to wear out is a perfect time to research and stockpile parts, then you're ready when they do lol

Just from experience, don't take the shortcuts. We all have done it, and in the end its just a money and time waster. As long as you know a welder (or a welding shop) just order Mike Barton's kit bumper and be done with it!

Welcome, from one noob to another!
I'll be trading my 255/55-18s for another set of used taller / narrower 18" tires. I am not waiting to buy news, I plan on getting 17" wheels in the future.
I agree, stock up on parts.

Ill defidently look into the bumper kit... I think that would be a nice Christmas present for myself, especially since I could weld it up at work. :excited:

The bumper and skid kits from MDB are worth every penny. If you add that weight you might also consider upgrading your front springs.
