Last picture before the lift and tires. I tried to put on Marks 2.5 but my old crappy cheep spring compressor I bought when I built my Subaru broke about 2 inches into the front coils so I just put in the top strut spacer to level it for now, and to help the 31x10.8's fit. I ordered a shop style spring compressor to lift it the rest when it comes in. But right now it's good with the 1/2" top spacer (almost a 1" front lift) and 1.5" wheel spacers. Rubs a little bit in the parking lot but it's not bad. I really wanna get a set of small black fender flares like the ones I put on my red S-10.

Tires look good on there.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

The Super bright LED reverse bulbs came in. Sweet! Found them on EBAY, about 40$. My old I phone doesn't do justice. I could count the branches on that far tree from the rear view mirror. I'm gonna order some for everything now hahaha. Adding auxiliary lights, relays, harnesses, fuses and stuff is step 2. Step one is to upgrade the current lights and not add stuff if it isn't necessary.

Nice! I might look into a set until I get set a set of Hella 550s mounted to the roof rack.

Finally got those Coil Spring spacers off the coffee table and somewhere other than coaster duty. The running gear is pretty much done for awhile with Mark's 2.5" lift, 1.5" wheel spacers and 275/65R17 BFG AT's (31x10.8). Next is the headlights and foglights. HID or LED projectors. I've got a lot of reading to do.

Running boards. They make it faster don't they? Like stickers!

Nice, Especially the Aveo. Totally agree with DustinC1989. That would be a riot at the tire store.

Got the front end aligned a few days ago. (Link attached on that mess) The fronts rub a lot more now so I've gotta see if I can shift some plastic around. The wife got a note on the wiper this mornin at the store from another trailblazer owner asking what I did to make it sit up higher and if I can do it to theirs. Totally random.

As mentioned in every other post. A front end alignment should be done after a lift. So, do some homework about local alignment shops and rates so you won't have the same mistake I did.

with mine, there is a bolt at about the floor board that holds the fender liner in place. I was able to whack mine a few times with the hammer to keep it from rubbing.

Well, just sold it :-( I work on the North Slope in Alaska and my oil well died, no work to do, everybody got laid off. The Trailblazer was the only thing that would be worth selling so it's gone.. Had bills to pay till I started getting paychecks again. It's all good now. I'll get an 06' EXT and do the same stuff to it before the roads ice over. 06' is when they upgraded the 4.2L bottom end and put on a better head, also the last year of the EXT (so I've read) so I'm locked into that year.

So, I paid 6,000 for that stock 03' EXT as seen in the first pictures with very minor average issues. Was on Craigslist for 8 days till I bought it.

Mark's 2.5 Lift 165$
1.5" wheel spacers 220$
275/65R17 BFG AT's 400$
Alignment/Balance 190$
LED Reverse Bulbs 40$
1,000CCA Battery and Air Filter 180$
Thermostat/Coolant 60$
Throttle Body Cleaner 3$

Right front door had no power. Window, locks, mirror. Unplugged it at the door jam, plugged it back in, everything works. Hour of reading and a 2 minute fix.

Rough idle, struggled hard when AC Clutch engaged. Hour of reading and an hour if cleaning the throttle body.

That's pretty much it.... I think... Sold at 7,500 the same day posted with 3 excited callers from 5am when posted till noon when I pulled the add.

good deal, it is rare to get more out of a project than you put in it.
