Didn't mean to come across harshly... I just figured if he's been hanging around the OS, he may have forgotten how to use the shift key... it's ok, it's like riding a bike though... it all comes back eventually.

But all kidding aside... If you want to be taken seriously, it's a good rule to make your posts legible... common courtesy, really. Its kinda an unwritten rule around here.

Well gentlemen, and lady , i regret to inform yuo that i am still sitting 7" from the ground. Have not found a spot to install yet and it is truely killing me.

The possibility of hitting the air seems good for this weekend, however after discussion with Mario hes suggesting i wait and do it all, one shot, the right way the first time.

Dont you just hate when others are right so i think im going to order my HD's for upfront in these next 10min

Ill be sure to keep you all updated on the progression.

Better to get the shocks and put them in. Don't want to run into issues trying to reuse old shocks... plus, you'd have to swap them out sooner or later...

I thought the front Bilsteins were on national backorder for about the last six weeks. Wherever you buy them, make sure they have stock. shockwarehouse.com does not show real-time inventory when you order, but their price is the best using the OS discount.

Yeaa well thanks roadie, couldnt tell me this this morning

Checked the order, backodered untill Nov. 30th

Ill be lifting prior to installing the HDs. Then down the line ill be slapping them in.

For the mean while, i put my stock rims/tires back on...figured id drop some teaser pics, hopefully i wont get banned for their content

I know Tom and Brendan were working on his lift last night.... I THINK they're finished...

for your information, mario, we finished at 140am thank you very much...

You got no idea how bad it was, everything that could have went wrong did... and then some.

1.) Rear Springs didn't really fit with spacers, had to compress springs and put them in place.
2.) After a long time of banging, decided to go buy a pickle fork and puller.
3.) Cracked upper shock mount with allen key.
4.) Stripped Upper shock mount with 1942 vise grips (best built vice grips i've ever used)
5.) Finally backed nut off, making new threads.
6.) Tom: we're in the clear now, the hard part is done
7.) Because the springs were off and not compressed at all, it took hours to compress them enough to fit.

Bottom line Mark sabotaged this kit, he didn't include stickers!!!

The first thing i did was put my stockers back on as well as my roofrack


Then, I finally found the time to put in the liftmeister kit from Markmc

its the 2.5" kit




Along with the lift you can see that i put my stock springs back in as well


My cousin, David Blaine, came by to offer a hand



Okay, i lied, so maybe hes not my cousin..



My sister got a little camera happy...a little action shot.



After this point, the sun went down and Foosh came to lend a helping hand.
We ran into many little struglles here and there, it will always happen when i am present.
Needless to say, ~01:30hrs the lift was completed

~02:15 i did my first wheelin'...urban wheelin

I know you're excited about this and want to show off your new clearance... But honestly, what does that picture show?

I'd recommend removing that last picture and save the wheeling for a real trail.
