New to the whole Trailblazer thing, I was looking for something to build and I didn't want to do the run of the mill Jeep or full size truck thing. Came across this forum and saw how awesome these look lifted and built for offroading and decided to purchase one. Bought a 2004 LS EXT with the 4.2L, has 160k and I picked it up for $600 from someone that needed money to fix another vehicle. Suspension lift, body lift, wheels and tires are all in the plans soon. Already have a trip planned for next year on the outerbanks to go out on the beaches.

I'm from a small town in Maine called Skowhegan.

Rust is a big issue up here so finding this one that was good and solid was a good find. I looked at a few before this one and I do agree $600 was a heck of a deal. Scored a rusted out 02 for $150 today. Rust has claimed most of the body panels but the drivetrain is all good. Never can have too many spare parts.

Shadow is just a nickname but it is what everyone calls me, through school and life it's what I've been called. My real name is Richard III, I was born on Groundhogs day and we already had a Rick and Dick in the family. The groundhog saw his shadow and joking around my grandmother said call him Shadow...38 years later the only time I am called Richard is when my wife is unimpressed with me. :D
