What's up everyone? This site looks great, I look forward to all of the knowledge I'm going to gain.

I have a 2004 Trailblazer LS with little to no options besides a tow package I believe. But it's pretty clean with 75k miles. It's mostly my beach truck and is in need of larger tires and a lift. It collects way to much sand and bottoms out like crazy.

I have on order markmc's front 3" lift/upper bushing's, and his wheel spacers/adaptors that go to 6x5.5". I've also ordered z71 Tahoe rear springs (part #15234633).

Now I need to decide if I'm going to change the front struts, what wheels and tires to get and rear shocks. I'm leaning toward doing the struts while I have them apart.

Welcome! Definitely change the strut's. When i did mine, I only had hand tools, and it was miserable in the July heat lol.

I ordered my Bilstein's back in November from ShockWarehouse and I received them in just a few days. No problems at all.

Are you replacing the rear struts at all while you're doing the z71 springs?

I ordered bilstein hd struts from eBay. They said they mailed them yesterday.

And yes I'm doing the rear shocks. I need to decide what ones I want and order them.

I just got my lift and new suspension all done on Monday, gotta post pics tonight or tomorrow. I have the BDS shocks on the rear and I love them so far. They work great with the z71 springs. Granted, I've only done on road driving so far but this weekend I'll be putting them to the test :flex dirty: :drive:

I also have the Z71/BDS55619 combo on the rear of my EXT, and love it, both on the hwy and on the rough logging roads, great setup for our platform.
