Hey guys,
I'm a high school student who will soon be purchasing a 2003 TB LS all stock. It is in good condition and has 218kms on it. I am really interested in lifting it, and have joined so I can ask for help, and maybe in the future offer help to people, and just talk about random crap. Anyways, I better get this out of the way... I'm Canadian (Alberta FTW ) I am really excited to get this project started, and have lots of support from my dad. (Will be using his tools and garage ) We are both interested in cars, and he has expierience so that is awesome. I want to have a highway/street safe TB that is also capable of handling some deep snow/mud/sand/random liquids
I am planning so far to do this:
-Mark's 3" suspension lift kit
-Flipping the UCA
-z71 springs in rear with new shock absorbers
-new struts
-Replace ball joints
-skid plating (this is needed obv)
-CB Radio
-Lights on roof and grille
-Cold air intake
That is my basic plan. I will be starting with the ball joints, lifting and suspension, then doing the other stuff. I will be installing everything at home, except for the new tires. It will be a fun time! I will most likely require your assistance more then a few times though!
Thanks for having me!
Jared
