Hey guys. I've gotten a lot of useful info from here and over at trailvoy. From helping me figure out my front axle disconnect was the reason my 4 wheel drive didn't work, to helping me get the lift, spacers, and wheel/tire setup that I wanted. Currently I've got a 02 Envoy with Mark Mc's 2.5" lift, Marks 6x5 to 6x5.5 wheel adapters, American Eagle Alloy Series 015 wheels, and Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs (265/70/17). I, along with a few of my close friends are working on figuring out if we can swap the 5.3 in and have all the electronics work like they should. I know the trailvoys were offered with the 5.3 but it's impossible to find one in my area, and it's something I've been wanting to do anyways. Thanks for all the helpful info guys!

Good luck figuring out that engine swap. I think you'll run into some serious wiring challenges, but its certainly not impossible if you change out enough components.

Glad to have you - any pictures of the truck?

Thanks guys. DirtyJealousBacon04, I love it here in Alaska, I was lucky enough to get stationed here. I'm sure a lot of issues will come up with the swap but that's all part of the fun right? haha. Pictures comin right up....don't mind the dented fender, I bought it like that. haha
