Z-71 springs arrived!!!!!!!

Got the Z-71 springs installed yesterday.

Measurement before - 34" after 35" (concrete to fender through center of wheel)

Passenger side is 0.5" higher front and rear than driver side. ( I wasn't even sitting in it at the time )

Brush guard install: had to remove plastic fairing at bottom of bumper for bracket clearance. Mounting will be modified in the future.

Purchased Moog 81114 front springs

Received them yesterday.

Started my new rear storage tonight.



Slide out counter from hardwood flooring samples.



Gonna modify to work as corn hole boards also.



Storage bins from SAMs club. Enough room to stack or double deep full of gear.







Cut to contour cabin for clean finish. Planned to carpet to match.

Stickers on!

So, on my last wheeling trip to Turkey Bay in LBL my 4x4 stopped working. On investigation, I had worn out front axles and the front differential outer bearing had failed. Luckily I had recently bought a spare diff. I decided at the time that I would go ahead an install a front locker in the diff before installation, however the lock right is no longer available. It was time to rethink my mission.

The offroad crew I run with are on 35-40" tires, fully locked, and fairly aggressive in there choice of trails.

My camping and travel desires don't line up with that of my family. I would like a trailer setup with RTT as well as a RTT on the trailblazer for my family of 5. They would like a travel trailer.

On May 20, I made the decision to trade my trailblazer in for a tow vehicle; 2001 Ford Excursion Limited V10 4x4. I'll now be able to select a nice trailer for the family. Modify for moderate offroad worthiness (35's 4" lift). This satisfies our camping bug. But, not my offroad bug. I'll now be searching for that right family wheeling vehicle to run with the club I'm currently involved with.
