Where it all started when I was actually thinking of lowering it instead of lifting. Note the extreme tire shine.

Then about 5 years after I got it and a while of lurking on here I went ahead with the lift. At or around this time I went ahead and Plastidipped the wheels and removed the running boards.

About a year after the lift I finally put on a set of 255/70/17 Toyo Open Country AT II that have more than exceeded my expectations on the trails.

And of course I had to remove the bumper cover which proved to be a great idea. Pretty sure I would've lost it a couple of times so far.

For cargo storage I built this platform quickly and inexpensively modeled after some of the guys in my company with platforms like this in the back of our work trucks with 6 foot ladders slid under them instead of my storage containers. The container on the left actually has a 2.25 ton floor jack and a couple straps and tools. The other container holds my first aid kit, tire plug kit, MV50, and some tools and other odds and ends.
