u wont like the lock rite if u have a vagina, i had a g80 in my 14-bolt forever, it had a 454 infront of it and was spinning 38s. they will last as long as ur not stupid with the gas pedal. the way most people grenade them is by mashing the gas while its disengaged, spinnig the crap out of the one tire and when it sences the rpm difference and goes to engage, it cant take the shock from locking a non-spining tire to a spinning tire, then BOOM!!. so heres the trick, because onece it locks its locked till about 15mph. u let the one tire slip at a slower speed till it engages, then once its locked, u can give it hell. till 15mph in wheel speed. so as long as u dont drive like a 16 year old jeep owner, it'll be ok. now another trick, if ur handy is... to grind alittle bit off the end of the arm that engages it, so it will stay locked to a higher mph, it un-locks by a centrifical weight that moves out under higher rpm, so if u make it lighter it wot dis-engage till a higher speed.
now on the loc-rite. once u get one u'll never go back, absolutly positive engagement, and will tAKE WHAT EVER U THROW AT IT. uwont really notice it on the road, the torque converter in ur auto will unload it, if u have a stick n u dont dis-engage the clutch in the turn the tires will chirp. but its no biggy.
