So here is a Fire Stick I mounted today. Running the coax thru the firewall turned out to be tuff but it is well sealed. I do notice a little hum above 30 mph so I am thinking it is wind noise from the stick? Anyway, sorry the pics arent the best but I am happy with the outcome so far.

Put a spring on that or you will end up with a divot in the fender underneath. Ask me how I know.

To answer your PM, unfortunately I don't have a SWR meter here.

Yep. I used a "medium" spring. It deflects a little at highway speeds but is fine other than that.

Fishsticks, I went with the HD spring and it also deflects a little but seems to be working.

I don't know how those Portland hippies feel, but I always use Vantucky as a term of endearment. Besides, Clark Country has way more people than Clackamas and is gaining on Multnomah. Now who's in the sticks?

I hung out with those Portland hippies for a little bit. Spent a couple weeks in that area while doing my river guide training on the Clackamas River. Then I spent the rest of the summer in Maupin on the Deschutes river. I miss Powell's and Jack-in-the-box. Nothing better than getting a cheeseburger and breakfast sandwich at the same time.

First, yep Sunday should work but early or late and not smack dab in the middle please?

Second, I only wish I were in Clackamas Cty, Multnomah (where I am) is the most expensive in Oregon last I checked (tax wise). Heck my property taxes are the same as Lake "O" and technically I am SE Portland! Never thought I would see the day that living off Foster Road would be expensive.
