Hey guys, I'm trying to plan a swap, pulling out my 4.2 and swapping in a 6.5 diesel from a silverado that I have as a complete parts truck, but was wondering how the electrical would be set up on this rig. is the ECM involved with the BCM? if I remove the entire stock 4.2 driveline, will the fun stuff inside such as the HVAC, power windows, and vehicle lighting still function properly? or are they interlaced so it wont run without the other? I'd like to be able to keep as many amenities as possible. suspension and everything else to accomodate for the swap is in progress of finding and upgrading.
