New leaks surrounding Pokémon TCG Pocket have teased exciting additions to the game, including new cards and events. The deNA-developed digital version of the beloved Pokémon Trading Card Game has already garnered a positive reception from players, achieving significant milestones. However, some fans feel that the game’s current offerings are a bit "barebones," making the upcoming content even more highly anticipated.

For those unfamiliar, Pokémon TCG Pocket offers players a digital experience mirroring physical Pokémon cards, where they can collect cards by opening boosters, participating in the Wonder Pick, crafting, and joining events. While the game’s proposal has sparked excitement, new leaks suggest upcoming updates that could significantly enhance the experience.

According to Twitter user PokeGirlLauren, two major updates are on the horizon. The first is a mini set called "A1a," which will be released on December 16, though the exact number of cards included is still unknown. The second update, scheduled for January 29, 2025, will introduce around 230 new cards, potentially reshaping the game’s meta. Additionally, PokeGirlLauren revealed that four main sets and four mini-sets are expected to be released each year, though further details on these updates remain under wraps.

In terms of events, leaks point to a busy schedule for players. A Black Friday event will take place from November 22 to December 2, offering potentially discounted gold. Additionally, two themed events—one focused on Magikarp and Gyarados cards, and another on Arcanine—will run from November 22 to 28. A special Venusaur promotional card event will follow from November 29 to December 13. The Arcanine event will feature a Wonder Pick, where players can obtain the EX variant along with holographic cards, including Ninetales, Moltres, and Charizard.

Although leaks are always subject to change, these updates, if confirmed, will give players plenty to look forward to, particularly the Arcanine Wonder Pick. In the meantime, Pokémon TCG Pocket players can enjoy ongoing events, including the Chansey and Meowth promo card Wonder Pick, ending November 15, the Lapras EX PvE event, ending November 18, and the Genetic Apex PvP event, wrapping up November 28.
