World of Warcraft's Patch 11.0.7 to Finally Add Long-Awaited

World of Warcraft has previewed Patch 11.0.7, which will at last introduce the long-anticipated Stormcrow mount, Thrayir, Eyes of the Storm, to the game after more than a decade. Players will be able to obtain this stunning mount on the Siren Isle, an all-new endgame zone included in the upcoming content update.

Patch 11.0.5, released on October 22, celebrated World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary with new content, expanded class options for Dracthyr, and fresh cosmetic Glyphs for Monks and Shamans. But Blizzard is already giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come with Patch 11.0.7, slated for early 2025. This update will transport players to the mysterious Siren Isle, once a Kul Tiran Azerite mine during the Fourth War, now shrouded in mystery as it emits a strange energy pulse. This has drawn allies and enemies alike, including Goblins, Arathi, Earthen, Naga, pirates, and Vrykul.

On Siren Isle, players can engage in activities to earn progression gear, cosmetics, and the long-awaited Stormcrow mount, now called Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren.

Patch 11.0.7 Highlights:

New Endgame Zone – Siren Isle
Flame Blessed Iron – A new currency for acquiring mounts, pets, gear, transmogs, and summoning bosses.
Cyrce’s Circlet – An upgradable ring.
Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren – The Stormcrow mount that players discovered over 10 years ago.

The Stormcrow mount was first discovered in the game files during the Mists of Pandaria era (Patch 5.4, Siege of Orgrimmar) in 2013 and teased during Warlords of Draenor as a potential in-game reward. Though cut from earlier releases, the mount will now make its official debut as Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren.

The Siren Isle itself has a similar history. Originally mapped for Battle for Azeroth, it was left unused until now. With a backstory as a Kul Tiran mining site, the zone has been revamped to fit into WoW's current storyline while still reflecting its historical origins.
