Elden Ring Hacker Wants Devs To Put A Stop To His murderous Spree

Elden Ring Runes has been hacked. Maybe that comes as no surprise, given that Souls games typically have a lot of issues with game-breaking exploits. However, this isn't a typical hack. This isn't a hack. Elden Ring is just the latest FromSoft game that is being targeted by a notorious Souls hacker who has a specific tendency to infiltrate players' worlds them.

If you're familiar with Dark Souls hacker Malcolm Reynolds You're probably able to guess what's happening. For the uninitiated, Reynolds is a longtime hacker of FromSoft games who caused myriad issues for Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls Remastered players several years in the past. In both cases Reynolds claimed to have altered the game's code to allow people to be soft-banned by giving them unsuitable products and status-related effects. In fact, he claims to be prone doing the same thing in Elden Ring, invading people's worlds and providing them with items they'd be better off not having before taking them down. While it's unclear if he's capable of affecting the accounts of people, based on footage he's shared online and on the internet, he's clearly able to kill players in what seems to be unfair methods.

Reynolds posted a video on YouTube the 9th of March, showcasing his latest hack, all his mischief set to jaunty sounds of "Rama Lama Ding Dong" by The Edsels. First, Reynolds' mouse cursor scans an area marked "Hardscoping Tutorial"" after which a second box is marked "This bans the use of these tools," complete with a tiny smiley-face emoticon in front of the box. It should be noted, however, that there is no specific evidence that bans actually happen. The video becomes a rapid succession of him invading people's worlds and laying absolute waste on them with a massive beam of flame shooting out of his palm as well as a few additional destructive powers. It's just a pity, especially since every spell he tried--like the fire beam-- appears to be significantly altered. Reynolds gave some context to how he affects other players' lives during The Lands Between hell, and what he sees as the justification behind it.

Reynolds talked to MMOexp over Discord messages concerning the hack he employed to get around that is, the "Hardscoping Tutorial" issue, and during our conversation, he described it as"pavel. "pavel." In light on subsequent discoveries, it was discovered that he was trying to fool MMOexp into publishing nonsense about how it works which at the time claimed would allow him to introduce incorrect items into other's inventories. These items would then be flagged for death, he claimed at the time, as well as the game could then identify the cheaters as his victims, resulting in an apparent softban. But, there's very little evidence this aspect of the plan is actually true. Rumors that such things are plausible have been heard throughout the game's community over time however, even though MMOexp is unable to verify these assertions, we do believe that cheating will continue to be a problem in the buy Elden Ring Runes game.
