A little early I know, but I like to plan ahead. May be too early for some to know dates but we can get a conversation started and see where it goes.

Dates? I can do April 3rd-5th, May 1st-3rd, or May 8th-10th but I know mothers day weekend is generally not popular.

I was going to try and take two weeks of vacation the first two weeks in May for a home renovation project, but hey everyone needs a break right?

What would people say if the trail was more difficult this year? Like, something where sliders would be recommended, otherwise rocker damage is possible? Something where skidplates are mandatory?

I'd have to be out if it's sliders recommended/ skids required, not sure if I'll have the cash to get skids before then. I'd be at about $300 just to drive there and back but I'm in for either weekend if my truck can handle it.

March is definitely out - most of the trails in GWNF are still closed in March.

I am tied up April 24-26 due to a buddy of mine's private offroading trip to Windrock Park in TN. But any other weekend in April or May should be fine.

And as much fun as a sliders required trip would be - it would really limit the number of people that could go...

April 3rd-5th is a good weekend for me as well, just looking to nail down some dates, planning island fishing trip and trip to Florida keys all in April/May.

I'd love to join you guy's. DO you already have a destination? If not I would perhaps suggest a private park, like the Badlands or something, with a variety of trails. I'd love to see you guy's with the more modified rigs turn them loose, but I'll be lucky to even get a lift and tires by late spring lol.
