Yep JD, I can't get to this one, falls right on the same time that my co-worker already had in the books. I'm hoping now I can make the summer trip.

Haha, hey, I said I had to check with my boss, when I said I was a maybe... Figures it has to be that weekend, if it was the one before, I could swing that, but its not. Sucks because it is a great time.

Yeah, it's already planned, people have requested off, etc... You can pick up 2 people by going the 20th, but you'll lose 2-3 by going there, and I know I'm hitting the summer one, anyway...

I'm a firm believer that when planning something that involves many individuals you cannot wait for everyone to try and decide on a date first and than "book" the trip. A universally perfect date simply doesn't exist. The planner just needs to pick a date and the people that want to go bad enough will make sure they show up. It also kinda weeds out those that aren't that serious about going. But on the other hand, some people just really cannot make certain dates. (like me.) :wallbash:

Just stirring the pot! Who wants to meet Rory anyways?!?

I'm thinking we may do Friday night's run backward... hit the little fun stuff along flagpole run Sat morning instead of Friday. I've honestly never taken that trail in that direction, so it will be interesting re-learning the trail in that direction. The rock shelves should even provide a moderate challenge when running this direction!

Saturday, I'm going back and forth on whether we should run down Dictum to the rock ledge, up to Second Mountain where there's a good view, or go as deep as possible and head towards the German River area. I guess it will depend on what kind of crowd we have and what people are interested in.

Looks like my stuff is coming together... Im just missing a spare tire rack so deciding on the best way (best price) to do one... As soon as I can make sure those dates are clear at work Ill confirm... Besides the usual gas and food, are their fees to areas we are going and such?.. Not a big deal, just wanna plan..

I have no intentions of backing out as long as it stays this date I already have my time off approved for both weekends and the first weekend I'm camping in wv and this weekend will be with you guys, I WAIS it was April already

Besides a full size spare do you guys have a list of stuff required to wheel with your group I know some clubs do

I got my rtt, sleeping bags, tarp, easy up,cooler, chairs , winch , high lift & base ,tow straps ,tree saver, arb snatch block, extra shackles , flashlights , chain saw,2 Jerry cans ,on board air, small first aid kit ,several gps units (nuvi,ipad2 with motionX & cell phone)

I am going to get soon a camp stove, full size spare, finish building my bumpers ,build sliders, water storage container ,I also want to get a cb

But what else should I think about getting I would like to be over prepared

We ask that you have a CB, but it's not absolutely critical. You'll just be left out of the conversation.

Don't forget toilet paper. Haha!

Honestly, you won't need sliders or bumpers for this trip. It's a slider optional trip.

And you have a rtt?! Cool! Mind sharing the details?
