Lemme put in for it with personal time and I'll see what they say. I've got 3 days to use along with sick time, not sure how well it's going to go over having to be there at 9am Friday. I wouldn't get done Thursday night till like 7-8pm, won't be getting much sleep since its a 7 hour drive for me.

Well I'll roll the dice and see if they give it to me :coffee:

We will be, but we're heading up on a Thursday and staying the night somewhere. Can't pull a 14 hour drive through the night and then a full day of wheeling while 7 months pregnant. Well, I don't want to anyways. Lol

And everybody needs to quit complaining about their "long drives".......ehm, Opeth, Bacon. :finger:

I feel bad for you guys with the long drives, I'm a tidy 4 hours away from the meeting spot.

I drive a tractor trailer all week long, I'll probably be in Boston or Maine Thursday making deliveries and usually is a 14 hour day by the time I get home. It gets old by Thursday driving 2500+ miles a week. I usually don't want to drive anymore by the weekend, so yes I get to gripe :P

well the nice part is that after you get a few hours south you can meet up with at least me and james02 and turn on the CB for a nice chat on the rest of the trip down.

I hear with those NY guys, bathroom breaks are frequent. At least that's what the PA guys complained about the minute they stepped out of their truck.

Well I don't want to put all my chickens into one basket just yet, I've gotta get the ok from work that their going to give me the weekend off. Two days would be ok, but I don't know about 3 days of personal time. I'm on vacation this week so won't be able to put in for it till Monday of next week. I'm not going anywhere near that place, they'd prolly ask for a favor and I'm not doing one :-P

I think with you being 7 month pregnant for the event (assuming I understand your post), you will also be stopping a lot to pee. ;) Baby is going to pushing on your bladder big time by then and pray that all the bouncing on the trail does not induce labor. ;)

That's what so great about it. James stops a lot for video production stuff. Perfect time to sneak into the woods and take care of business. The bouncing around isn't too bad, but there are a few spots where it can get really rough. Worst case, I'll just get out and walk, or record stuff (using a single leg camera stand, just so things come out better this time James, promise.) :photo:

mostly we stopped for coffee, by the end of the first day I'm up 20+ hours, and only get 4 or 5 hours sleep, I need caffeine, I'm a wuss like that.
I usually stop 3 or 4 times on the way back too, but I usually work a midnight that night, so I end up being up 26-30 hours or so... depending on if I get stuck for overtime the next morning at the end of my tour.

It's a good trip and entirely worth it though. even if you do have to put up with those assholes from NY and PA lol

Ahem - Darring, I think you forgot to copy and paste the list!

Looking forward to Sept 20th guys. Should be a nice time to camp, if a tad on the hot side.

Jordanee, I don't know what you're talking about - you're gonna have to stop the train yourself, no video this time. That's a spring TECORE thing.
