Lol... Sorry I always had sports cars and is my first time trying to hook up a truck my questios is: is gu6 a good normal or bad? And what is the biggest tire I can fit in there with my.3" lift and the body lift that i gonna buy later from markmc.

The largest tire with just the suspension lift would be about 30.5" add wheel spacers and you can go 33" and add the body lift and a little cutting you can fit 35-36" tires, your biggest issue is going to come in with the 3.42 gears, larger tires need stonger gears. I wouldn't go over a 31" tire with 3.42 gearing. I'm about to install a body lift and would like to get 35" tires but will wait until I upgrade to 4.10 from my current 3.73 gearing. If you add both lifts and the spacers and most likely new wheels with a better offset you can run 305/70/17 tires but you will see a massive loss of power and likely start breaking parts with all the extra stress on the driveline. 305/70/17 is a 35" tire.

Got it, if you upgrade the gears do unhave to upgrade it front and rear because is 4x4
With a 3.42 can i use 285/75 16?, like I said I have 3" lift kit and 1.5" wheel spacer

Yes the front and rear gears need to match, 285/75/16 will fit with minor trimming and a little rubbing in a full turn, that's a 33" tire and you will feel the difference in power but not sure how bad and how much added stress it will be, if someone with 3.42 gears are running 33" tires maybe they will chime in.

I will not miss this one!! I don't care what date it is ! No more overseas trips to stop me this time after 25 yrs of service my retirement is final in 1 week this trip will be a good kickoff to a end of one journey and the beginning of my next adventure...

We already got a convoy going. Couple guys from NY are meeting me local to you and I and we ride down from there. The details haven't been hacked out yet, but we will keep you in the loop.

with the 3.42s, stick with the 265/75/16.

JD did some research, anything over a 32 (with 3.42s) will cause the TC to lockup too much and cause the tranny to overheat if you do much highway travel.
There are a few members that have run 33's on 3.42s. I sent out some PM's. One of the members responded and he confirmed his tranny did overheat until he installed a tranny cooler but even then it was sluggish and his gas mileage was terrible.

For TECORE, I'll let the guys who have been confirm but you might also need at least an oil pan skid. I think Mike Barton went before with his truck with very little lift but plenty of armor. Look back at some of the old pics.

I had a trans cooler before I had 33s so I didn't have this issue.

Absolutely. We don't have anything carved in stone yet. Still waiting on an official time we have to be in Va and who will be in our convoy. We'll work on details as we get closer.
