Hey 15TCarter,

Where are you planning to go? Are you thinking of a date yet? You going to feed everyone who comes? Beer? :poke:

Haha thats why i'm trying to get a collaboration... Get Ideas from people. All we got out here really is Tuttle State Park, Which is more rock Crawling type of stuff. I can find some trails though. I'm good at that. Theres even some neat trails here on Fort Riley. As far as food... I'm a single soldier living in the barracks. theres not a whole lot I can provide. lol. Beer is easy to come by... and Tax free on post. LOL!

There is a "midwest" meet on Trailvoy coming up, but it'll mostly be mall crawlers and belly draggers, and is in Indy...

Yeah, I'm sort of rethinking my reservation for Indy. :? It's an awfully long drive for a meet with mostly people who aren't part of the community I'm going for (this one). Oh well... I'm sure I'll still end up there.

To the OP... I'd wait for TECORE if you want a decent meet. I know I am, and praying it works with my work schedules.

Since it came up - I'm still unsure about holding a TECORE this year. I've got a load of stuff to get done on my truck before my big trip this year... playing it by ear for now. If anything there would only be one event this year (maybe mid-summer)... but there's a real possibility that there won't be one until 2012.

Lots of good people and knowledge will be at the indy trailvoy meet. Lifetime worth of connection may be found.

I can find an offroad run once or twice a month to join in indiana if people want to do something. The badlands run had a good turnout and it was winter and near new years. Will likely do a couple more w camping later this summer.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

There will be a pretty good showing of the lifted folks there. Our last meet in Chicago we were able to evenly match up to them. Besides that, there are some amazing guys to meet in that crowd that will bend over backwards and bust their ass to help if needed.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I think Badlands is about a 4 and a half hour trip for me, so I'd definitely be interested come mid-late summer. A new job has my schedule sort of screwy right now working some nights and some days for the next 90 days, but it's allowing me to financially justify this hobby. :thumleft: I had a work trip that looked like it was going to interfere with the Indy meet, but I've been given a break during that time, so now I'm crossing my fingers to not be scheduled at the other job that weekend. I'd like to at least be able to make it up for the day on Saturday.
