From the first post in this thread, this is a coilover, and you can see the upper mount is not the spring retainer, and therefore, would not fit a spacer between the spring and the upper mount, like the stock struts do. The threaded collars on any coilover shock do exactly what any inside-the-strut spacer does, which is add preload on the spring to lift the vehicle.
