Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Audio Problems

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

So tomorrow afternoon I will be replacing all 4 door speakers. 2 of them are acting kinda funny, working for a couple minutes and then not working. It is my belief that water might have gotten inside the doors because they were all rusted along the bottom. I read on the OS that this is common and also that this intermittent thing is a speaker issue. I will be following this article ( http://forums.trailvoy.com/articles.php ... e&artid=70 ) for guidance and hopefully will not run into any problems. Any advise on this is welcome and wish me luck!

When you put the new ones in, don't forget these http://www.parts-express.com/wizards/searchResults.cfm?srchExt=CAT&srchCat=740

Or completely weather seal the door. I'm yet to pull mine out but I have one rear door speaker cutting out so it's on my to do list. I'll be sealing my doors. And deadening them to keep the outside sounds out and the sweet tunes in.
