Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Need Help with Seafoam.

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

So I got a bottle of seafoam and wanted to do the vacume line treatment, But after looking around under the hood I really wasn't sure which I should use. So does anyone who have used this tell me what there preffered method is and what vacume line they use? I want to make sure I do it right and get a good treatment. Thanks for your help.

Break booster is the one I've always used...

Agreed, just pull the line off your brake booster and slowly pour in with the engine running.

I two have always used the brake booster line. You will probably want someone to help you. As soon as it starts drawing it in the motor will want to stall. You will have to keep the rpms up and do a little at a time. Oh yeah and park somewhere away from houses it will smoke like all get out.

Won't that only treat the cylinders beneath the brake booster connection? I like the idea of the spray-can version of seafoam with the snake line thing.

For some reason I feel better about the even delivery of this method, versus the vac line delivery.

Since I don't have a MAF, I hook the snake line things to the TB and spray a little over half a can in with the motor running. Most even distribution I can think of on our motors.

I use the other ~half to clean the backside of the TB.

(I use the brake booster or the front vacuum port on V8 motors.)

Thanks for all the input guys, That was my main concern(even distribution) about using a vacume line.
