What did you do to your GMT today?

Did a few things yesterday, changed oil in the engine, mounted up a second battery box, fuse panel, and mocked up 2 pod gauge mount. I've also been working on a switch panel mount that I put on, has a couple fitment issues but is a work in progress. I'm hoping to start wiring up some things this week and then this weekend building some rock sliders and adding some tubing to my front bumper.

Finally got to putting Moog 81069 in the rear. I picked up about 2.5" in the rear and now sits at 39" on both front and rear fenders on flat ground! The stock shocks were sagging with the rear tire and RTT and helped with sway a bunch. Now I have only a inch of clearance on my garage door. Hahaha

Finished up my gauge pod's and put it in place to see how it looks, I need to run the wiring for the gauges but it turned out much better than I had expected.

Wired up my gauges today and also replaced my blower motor resistor. While installing the temp sender I found that my tie-rod's need replaced. Would explain the shimmy that I have been noticing. So while I swap out my front diff tomorrow I guess new tie-rods are going to be getting put on.

Cleaned the ole girl today. Cleans up ok but its a good 5-10 footer.

Not today but last friday i changed plugs on my 06 denali. Front pass side was by far the worst. Only able to turn socket one click at a time.

Thank you! I made it myself, bought the gauge pod off of amazon. It's for an 03 mustang. I also bought a spare A pillar plastic from the local junk yard. Cut to fit, bonded it together with some plastic epoxy and used body filler fill in the rest. It turned out alot better than what I thought it was going to be.

Gave the 06 denali a nice wash and conditioned the leather seats. Amazing how dirty they were and ive never done it since buying which is over a year ago.

Experimented with putting on the fold-down carrier on that I had on the old Envoy. Not really a fan, it covers a good chunk of the window, and once I get the tire swapped to match the tire size I'm running it will cover a lot more, including blocking the rear lightbar. I like it for the hi-lift mount, but I'm ordering a roof basket so I'll probably just mount it up there. One of these days I'll get around to building a swing out carrier.

Ordered up some new rotors and pads, been several years and the rear is metal on metal...oops

Replaced 2-3 shift solenoid. also gearbox oil changed.

Well i put new front and rear rotors and pads on the denali. Doing rear it started to storm but just finished it anyways. I was soaked by time i was done. Had slight rubbing type noise once i first started moving but then after a few mins driving and testing brakes i dont hear noise anymore. So all i think is good.

What lift did you go with? Ive been eyeing up the supreme suspensions one. I already have 265/60/18’s and wheel spacers. Next is the lift.

Hey, just saw this, don't think I responded. Yes, Supreme Suspension. It feels like it tightened up my cornering a bit. Sitting in the drivers seat, it feels like its 4' taller, but I know its not that much. I had some squeakiness at the top of my strut towers. I shot them (hood side) with a little White lithium grease and all is well ever since. I haven't done any off-roading since the lift. Its mot of a farm truck, daily driver, and fire wood fetcher.

Yeah! This thing has seen better days and I am going with tires before I worry about any protection. Winter is coming...
