Tracing down why my taillights aren't working. Top bulbs and license plate lights are out.
Circuit boards are good, wiring looks fine, bulbs are good and fuses are good

I found out that the dashhawk does not work for 06 when trying to do CASE Relearn, it only works 08+ because they use CAN communication.

I had a miss on cylinder 4. Pulled the coil and there was water. I guess it's time to add weather strip to the hood to keep the water out.

I still have an idle misfire on cylinder 2, appears to be injector at this point, everything else has been replaced. :|

Have you inspected your exhaust manifold? Sounds odd but the crack in my manifold was throwing off the idle mix on that one cylinder, and from time to time stalled the engine out when at a light. I think the O2 picks up on it and wreaks havoc on the computer, who is trying to get idle as low as possible. Maybe you have a leak, its worth it to check.

I'm actually dreading this as I just replaced it about 2 years ago, but I definitely am not ruling it out. I'm in denial, I don't want to break a bolt off in the head trying to change that thing.

Yeah, I'm going through the same dread, thinking that the replacement cracked, which is making me consider welding up my own mini headers...

Installed my trans cooler today. I think I did it right haha. Followed the line from the drivers side bottom of the trans and took it apart by the air box. Used the Hayden piece and hosed it together. No leaks as of now.

I don't recall which way is 'right', but they both work honestly. I intentionally did mine backwards from the norm, and I'm quite happy with it. Hotter fluid running through the aux cooler, and therefore it helps keep the radiator temps down a bit better.

the way my truck came from the factory is, Transmission -> Radiator -> Aux Cooler -> transmission. So that's the way that GM considers the "right" way. But honestly, there is good arguments out there for doing it either "right" or "Backwards" and it really comes down to personal preference, and what school of thought you want to subscribe to.

Backwards does keep the radiator temps down, and helps keep the load on the radiator lower. It should also keep the trans at a more constant operating temp. ( close to, or a few degrees behind the engine) But really either way works and is fine.

I guess too if you don't have a cooler with the tstat in it if you run cooler first, in cold weather the radiator will help warm the tranny fluid up.

I re torqued my wheel spacers today. After doing some random reading around, I read that I should re torque after 100 miles then every motor oil change. Well today I did after 1000 miles, lol, but every single nut was still at 100lbs. No shaving of metals and my wheels were easy to pull off with no kicking of the wheel. I will check them every other oil change just to make sure every thing is kosher
