I'm completely unsure of what is causing the discharge. It's a brand new AGM battery as I am sure most are aware of. It must be something recently done to the vehicle. The tail lights or the new headlights, but I dunno. The lights aren't on so I don't see how. Something is draining it, because my new battery was dead as a door nail.

An hour job of changing my fuel pressure regulator turned into a 5 hour ordeal when i dropped the old screen from the old pressure regulator into an intake runner. So i had to take the lower intake manifold off and go get a gasket set and one of those claw pick up tools to retrieve it. Got it back together and cleaned up. Still waiting to get my PCM back from PCMforless before I can start the truck to see how bad i F'd up, and to find out if the pressure regulator actually fixed my problem. I hope i got all the gaskets and the timing right. We shall see

Woke up Sunday morning to a dead battery. I can't complain, believe it or not I got ten years out of the(Walmart) last one but for the last 6 months I could tell it was on it's way out. A quick stop at Sears yesterday before work for a DieHard Platinum and I was on way.

Did you buy the Walmart battery for something else? Just thinking 10 years ago was 2004.... even an 02 battery should have been under warranty at that time.
I'm glad you got it up and running!

1st my jeep, then in my pickup, then sometime in late 07 I swapped it to the TB and gave the pickup away. I totally forgot about doing all that until I removed the plastic bat cover and seem it was an EverStart and "4" removed from the label. I also got 10 years from the factory batteries in my 2003 Ford E350 turbo diesel, replaced them last year with InterState's

I tried to fit a bigger DieHard Group 65 top post only from the jeep in the TB but it would have needed some mod to the battery tray and I didn't have time for all that.I will tell you at sometime I'm gonna have dual batteries in the TB :hmm: the diehard platinum's can be laid on their side and exposed to the elements, So I'm thinking of mounting a 2nd battery up under the TB! :flex dirty:

Replaced the water pump and pulley this week, flushed the system, cleaned the engine, replaced the air filter, and will replace drivebelt at some point this week.

Cleaning out the TB. Ashley has been driving it since I got my truck, and like most (not all, but majority) women... she never cleans out vehicles

Finally disassembled the old strut assemblies with the BDS spacers. Will post pictures tomorrow.

And I gotta clean it. Been pretty much traveling the last 5 or so weekends so there's just empty water bottles around and bags of snack wrappers and fast food cups.

Replaced the starter, starting to return her to stock so I can piece her out before I sell her off.

Took the front diff back out to check the bearings and the adjusters to see why the CV is wobbling. After doing it Regulators way the first time and taking about an hour and 15 minutes I did it the same way with the rack and subframe up and not removed but disassembling the front of the motor- Alternator, Fan and shroud, ac compressor and idler pulley it was "cake". the whole job with removal of suspension, intermediate shaft, disco, diff and front of motor took me an hour and to pull the diff actually out the front of the motor was 5 minutes or less.

Image

For those of you who dont have a vacuum pump or charge gauges for the ac you're able to move the compressor up and have the pulley rest on the battery and stay there.

Replaced the rear hatch lift supports and cleaned up the cargo area a bit. Decided to take the roof rack off to put on the kayak carrier. Going to leave it off for a bit since I'll be going to job training for the next couple of weeks.
