Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

What did you do to your GMT today?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

Still unsure of why this would be desirable.

That sleek mall crawler look. Same reason there are threads on the OS about deleting and filling the plastic license plate bucket on the tailgate.

Ultimately pointless.

Especially removing the handle on the back glass....

looks great, really he got it done quickly from stock to where it is, he just spent several days looking for lug nuts which is usually the easy part!

no no no, he spent three days looking for lugnuts.
I braved the hood, rollin past dead guys on the corner and dealing with crackheads while the two autozones we went to let moots in and out through locked doors after we passed the 8 ft high fences with barbed wire around the parking lots. Mike is a slacker.

I'm still jealous of his rig though.

I bought 2 sets of used spacers and both sets came with extra lug nuts :-)

For stock rims. Moots and Mikekey got aftermarket rims and need different sized lug nuts.

It helps when you don't buy the wrong lugs the first time around like a numb nut. And I suppose if I had just gone to a place to sells rims I'd find them faster than looking at stupid autozone and advanced auto. But I did need additional length lugs and then I needed a THIN WALLED SOCKET!!! Learning experience. Better pictures once everything is finished up. Got some trimming to do on the front.

@mikekey... I know you guys said you are putting on some sliders, but a quickie coat of Krylon on those frame rails would probably look really good, in the meantime.

Yeah, that's not rust. Car is rust free. It's dirt from Utah! Because we still haven't really given her a good wash. Lol. I am planning to buy myself a small pressure washer unit shortly, and I have a gallon of POR-15 left over from what I painted the frame on the Corvette with that I want to paint the frame rail on the Trailblazer with and coat the sliders too before I cover them in bed-liner for good measure. I already repainted the MDB radiator skid and oil skid with the POR-15. It wasn't a big deal till we did the body lift, now it's kind of out there.

And the first half of the fender roll progress. Will need some final body work and then it will look factory.
