Updating...haven't been here in a while.

So I thought I would give y'all an update...I've been MIA recently

I've thus far purchased a BDS front kit, Allied black wheels (had the stupid pin striping around the rim taken off) a K&N CAI, various recovery equipment, and a set of 255/70-16 Maxxis Bighorn 762 mud tires.

Now here's the pain in my rear...

My fuel level sending unit went out...to my luck. So now until I get that replaced, I have to hold off on installing everything else or it will void my warranty.

On a positive note, I work for Les Schwab so its not like I have to wait to make an appointment for everything.

GM's now paying 50% of the sender replacement cost. Did you get the letter?

Go to a GM dealer, and they will split the cost of the swap with you.

Since we're on this topic - I didn't see anything in the letter that discussed reimbursement for swapping out the part yourself.

I never heard about this, I had mine replaced about a year and a half ago by the dealer. Any word on reimbursement for this? Just curious

Still haven't seen anything about reimbursement for the part only if you fix it yourself. I think since I saved a few hundred anyways, I should just be happy and stop looking for handouts.
