If you want to stick with your stock wheels, you can get the spacers and be good for clearing the upper ball joint. If you want to go aftermarket, as Jrgunn said, I would highly suggest getting ADAPTERS (6x5.5) instead of the spacers. This will open you up to every gm full size truck wheel available. There are very few wheel options for the stock 6x5 bolt pattern. Keep in mind, that aftermarket wheels tend to have less offset (stick out a bit further) than factory wheels. I'm running 25mm offset wheels with adapters. You can check out my Build Thread below to see how far they sit out. I have plenty of clearance at the upper ball joint. Only had to trim the plastic fender liner with 255/75/17's.
