I've had my HIDs in stock lenses for a few months. I was looking into projectors, but the reviews that I read said that they always have crappy coverage and dark spots. I decided I'd go ahead and save money by just replacing with a stock lens again.

You may not like the LED's in the winter. I bet they run cool and won't metal snow or ice since there so efficient.

My very limited experience has been the opposite, projectors were more even and HID in stock housing are generally more uneven and with some shitty cutoff. I'll have to read more and see if something has changed in the lighting game.

My tb is mostly in the garage in the winter... But there is some heat still coming off my headlights... Ill check that again.. But I bet I'd still be able to see with frost or ice on them too haha.

The reviews that I read might be written by people who are using the wrong bulbs. now that I think about it, the Anzos description said they came with new halogen bulbs pre-installed so all you had to do was plug it it. so I'm betting that the users who bought that assembly aren't using HIDs. One guy said "I had to bend back the metal piece include the headlight just to get any usable output". Does that sound reasonable at all?

Alright guys, I got the headlight fixed. I bought this kit at Walmart because I needed the sealant in it, and it worked perfectly. It has sandpaper and everything, basically exactly what the guys above reccomended I do to repair it. I realized the trick is wet sanding it. If you don't use water, it doesn't make much difference at all. I'll post pictures of the results in a few minutes, right now I'm waiting on the buffing compound to dry out.

It's not brand new looking, but it is DEFINITELY better than it was after I got done "tinting" it lol. Its only a tad bit hazy now. a bit more buffing compound will probably fix that anyway.
