The cam cover needs to change from the plastic one to the later metal one and the coils are different on the 06 and up, they're a fair bit smaller. Additionally the fuel injectors are shorter on the late motors, I don't recall off the top of my head if the longer ones pop in there anyways.
You'll get some better airflow from the head itself, but some of the power increase came from a bump in compression from an updated piston.
Also be aware that the coolant temp sensor moves from the water pump neck to the head by cylinder 6, you'll need to at least make sure it's plugged.
