If you are using an iOS device so far to date that I know of you are SOL with trying to read trans temp. Ask me how I know.

Yeah tell me about it. I am thinking of getting an Android Tablet though. Does it work automagically with Android or is there a code you have to enter?

Been talked about before however with android OS using the Torque app you are golden, I broke down before TECORE and bough the app on my Samsung Galaxy SII work phone and used it to monitor the temps. I have a gauge to install, biggest hurdle is removing the PRND switch with out breaking the connector (other than procrastination ;) ) to install the pickup sensor in a port the on left side of tranny.

I put the sender for my gauge in the pan when I changed the filter. But now I also have a scan gauge. With multiple vehicles the scan gauge moves around and its nice having a hard mounted gauge. Who needs a 4x4 selector switch anyhow...
