I'm sure everyone has seen the XUV entirely covered in Herculiner, I guess I don't have the same balls as that guy, but I did like the look and usefulness of having the ability to easily repair the surface that is most susceptible to trail damage. So.................I painted the fender flares, I've got an LTZ, bottom door trim, and bumpers with Herculiner. It was easy and relatively cheap, under $100, and if it gets messed up it's super easy to repair. I think it looks good, which is all that matters, and I'm thinking in the future to Herculiner the bottom of the doors, ala TNF edition, and doing the wheels as well. Pics soon
P.S. I'm not going to have pics till after the weekend so someone go ahead and post the "This Thread is Useless Without Pictures" emoticon
PICS!!!!
(I also painted all my exterior black trim including the bug guard, grille, bowtie, and roof rack, with Black Krylon Fusion)
I would recommend anyone with black trim do the same, it makes it look like a new truck
~and the exhaust pic is of my resonator delete, I wanted max ground clearance once I ripped off the bumpers so I asked him to put the bend in it to keep it just about even with the metal part of the bumper.
