The rattles wont stop!

Like I said before I don't have the rattles but def notice a smoother ride when I have a couple hundred lbs in the back..

I run 45PSI, full size spare, enclosure with 2 10" subs and amp. Plus my tools and gear. Just a couple dash rattles and the ride is pretty smooth, even when I still had MTs.

When I have a rattle, I hit it until it goes away. Works (almost) every time.

I see James driving down the road, complacently, until he hears the rattle in the dash. He tries to ignore it, actually saying aloud "it'll go away on it's own" and shaking his head agreeably. It doesn't go away and he becomes infuriated, smacking the dash as his face turns red and breathing ceases. It stops and he gives a celebratory fist to the sky with a swift, airy, exhale of the breath to signify success. Big grin on his face as he continue motoring down the road until the rattle comes back and the cycle repeats itself.

I cant imagine why 50 psi is needed in our vehicle. I ran 40 for a bit and it seemed too much. I run 32-35 and have no issues. Rides goods, handles great.

hahaha i have to addmit i have ussed tissues when no other option was currently available.

but here is an update on my situation.

my rear bench rattle is caused by a gap between the floor and the rear right leg, as well as some play in the acutal latch mechanism.
So i took the leg apart where it meets the seat, and where the rubber foot bolts on to the leg. Adding some washers to help close the gap helped a bit. So far so good!
the window rattle im told is play in the track and the weather striping that it slides bewteen. its true. you can move the glass side to side quite a bit.

Im going to start a build thread with more infop, but i recently installed a new headunit, and while i had everything appart, i took my time to ticghten things up, add washers, and so on. so now most of my rattles are gone.

my door rattle is another story. its just a matter of the pannel being realy flexy. so i am gona look into some dynamat, and adding some more mounts.

I was in college from 69-73. The shitbox car this girl had was from 62. MINE was a far superior '65 Opel Kadette wagon
