They are true beadlocks, not look-a-likes, so they do function. Don't think I really need them, but wanted to give them a try. I liked the ring as well.

We've got fakers. And oddly, the misses wanted to paint the ring orange, before I said no to painting things orange on the truck. :) I think it looks good as well, especially on the white. If we hang on the TB and take it out west more, I think I might repaint her white. Just cleaner looking. :thumleft:

What surprised me was the wife did not like them and she is the main reason for most color on the truck. I do wonder if they were green(her favorite) if she would have liked them.

I originally wanted to go green and black, but I was told it is overdone. So then I said orange. Lol. But white and green, now that would be different! I like your wife's tastes! :D

I got beadlocks after I bent the hell out of a rim. Never had a problem with pulling a tire off, but the added strength to the wheel is welcome.

I can only see that being a good thing for a heavy 360.

The added strength is one apect, but they have more weight. With a bigger tire/rim cobo there is more stress on the wheel bearing.
How often have you guys with the bigger tire combo (33"-35") changed the wheel bearings for example in two years?

I'm thinking of getting some hutchinson rims, this would be my only option to getting a bigger tire combo to be "TÜV approved".
I talked to some guys on the Abenteuer Allrad last year, but the rims are expensive. On the other side i can get rid of the spare tire in that combination.

Well, I've had my 33"s for two years and have yet to change my wheel bearings. But now i just jinxed myself and all four are going to explode on my drive to work.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I've been debating this, we don't have problems YET, but the car is at the age, I should probably just do it and stop being lazy.

I would not waste money on Timken if you do them yearly. I use the cheapest I can find on ebay without issue. Hell they actually have a year warranty so if they are bad you get your new one for free. Works out perfect.

The cheapos on ebay run <$75 per pair on ebay but for under $125 you can get ones with a 2yr warranty.
Mine make enough noise long before there is even play in them I wouldn't worry until I started hearing them. Then again you guys running big MT's might not hear the bearing going bad.

$83 gets you a lifetime warranty on a pair....

Thank´s Wolf :D
That purple is awesome, that doesn´t have to mean anything. I mean i have two son´s one is at the age of 5 one is at the age of 2 and my wife is pregnant and we will get our daughter in October.

So that color is only for safety ;) Haha

dang, I just got a set and didn't see those.
I guess the painful part would be actually getting a replacement, having to remove the faulty one and installing a spare until your new ones came in.

The ones I have ordered do not make me send in the old, so I just tell them when they make noise and they send another.

oh well, I might give it a try next time.
When I replaced my factory hubs, I couldn't really tell with them off the truck they were bad.
This set, I could tell on the driver side, you could feel the difference. It wasn't real bad yet but it was time to change it.
